Carry the work forward.
When AI work moves between conversations, models, or tools, the next system needs more than a long transcript. It needs to understand the objective, what has already been decided, what sources matter, and which constraints still apply.
OCTP (Operative Context Transfer Protocol) is GlitchMob’s patent-pending approach to transferring that working context. It is designed to carry forward the relevant task state—goals, decisions, source references, boundaries, and unfinished work—so another system can continue without starting over.
The handoff is meant to be checkable, not blindly accepted. OCTP is designed to help a receiving system distinguish what is established, what remains uncertain, and what authority it has to proceed.
GML preserves the broader context over time; OCTP addresses how the context needed for the next step travels between systems.
OCTP is under active development. This describes the approach we are building and testing, not a generally available public service.
